Statement
Last updated: May 2026
Ceramica Samir Tannous is committed to making this website accessible to as many visitors as possible, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of good design, not an accessory to it.
This statement describes the steps we have taken, the standards we aim to meet, the known limitations, and how to reach us.
Standards we aim to meet
This site is designed to conform with WCAG 2.1 level AA and the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (תקן ישראלי 5568).
Compliance is tested via automated tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools), manual keyboard navigation review, screen reader spot-checks, and visual contrast auditing.
What is built into this site
- A dedicated Accessibility Toolbar in the bottom-left corner. Adjust text size, switch to a legible font, pause animations, increase contrast, highlight links, enlarge cursor. Your choices are remembered on this device.
- Full keyboard navigation — every interactive element reachable via Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter / Space.
- A visible focus indicator at all times for keyboard users.
- Respect for the OS-level Reduced Motion preference — animations suppressed automatically when set.
- Semantic HTML throughout — proper headings, landmark regions, ARIA labels.
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images hidden from assistive tech.
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page (reveal with Tab).
Known limitations
We treat known limitations as active items, not permanent exceptions. If anything blocks you from reaching what you came for, please contact us directly and we will help.
Accessibility coordinator
Our accessibility coordinator is available to answer questions, help you reach content, and receive feedback about barriers.

Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a problem, the most useful reports include:
- The page URL where you ran into the issue.
- What you were trying to do and what happened.
- The device and assistive tech you were using (if relevant).
Review
This statement is reviewed at least once a year and whenever significant changes are made to the site.
